Palmerston Place is a city centre venue with a largely gathered and scattered congregation drawing in people of all ages and stages of life from different nationalities and backgrounds. It has a warm family feel as people get to know and help each other across all generations. We are part of Gorgie and Palmerston Place Church and serve one of the largest Church of Scotland Parish in Edinburgh.
We have a history of attractive biblical preaching combined with a wide variety of worship music - both contemporary and traditional in style. Our weekly Sunday morning services (10:30am) are live-streamed and then available for catch-up on YouTube. All our sermons are available to listen again on our website. We are excited to welcome our new minister in the summer of 2025.
We have a monthly Sunday morning celebration with our sister church on Gorgie Road.

We would love to welcome you here to any of our Sunday services and/or other events. We are a forward-thinking church which is always looking at how it serves those around us - this is reflected in our long-term aim of "Bringing Christian Worship, Fellowship and Service to the heart of everyday life". Lots of opportunity to get involved in various church activities and help to foster any fresh expressions of sharing the good news of Jesus.
We host regular Sunday lunch events to which everyone is welcome, and these are a great way for people to get to know each other better. We have a weekly prayer meeting at 8am on a Tuesday in Annan House, next door to the Church, which includes hot drinks and pastries. We have in-person and online Housegroups, a book group, and film club that meet on a regular basis.
We have a community Cafe called Saltyard (158 Dalry Road), which is well worth a visit during the week for drinks, cake and light lunches. It is open Tuesdays - Friday, 9am-4pm.
There is also opportunity to utilise skills and talent as we look to developing activities with all ages within the congregation.
